i've learned many new different strategies on how to become a better listener.
The most important thing I have learned is that there is a time for coaching and a time for feedback. Coaching is deeply important and should be a large part of what a good leader should do daily.
I learned about how to properly handle my stress. Not only to reach out and ask for help from my coworkers, but also to reach to family and friends. I found that the stress from work was affecting my personal life, and that by reaching out and talking with family I was able to separate my work stress from my personal life.
I learned that managing stress starts with recognizing its causes and effects, especially at work. Key strategies include identifying stress triggers, turning worry into action, using relaxation techniques, and maintaining healthy habits. Supporting others also helps create a more positive and productive environment.
I've gained a deeper understanding of the importance of active listening, powerful questioning, and goal setting in supporting others' growth.
Many employers, employees, students have difficulty managing stress, but one simple way to address and reduce stress is to discuss your feelings with a trusted co-worker. Instead of holding onto stress, talking about it can open doors to reduce stress.
I learned about the importance of time management strategies. I plan to block of various times to complete priority tasks. This will allow me to use my time better and increase my effectiveness and efficiency.
This module showed me better ways to coach my team
Learned a lot about constructive feedback. Thanks
I plan on trying to use timeboxing, stop multitasking, and work in contingency plans. I think by using timeboxing that will help keep me on tasks for my larger goals. Additionally, I plan to write out the biggest goals I need to achieve each day so they can remain the top priority.
